The Legislative Management has been directed to study the impact of wind energy development on the environment. The Legislature prepared a short memorandum that describes some of the landowner rights and nature of wind development in ND. It can be found HERE.
NWLA Executive Director, Amy, spent two days touring the city of Minot with the Energy Development and Transmission Committee. On October 12, Troy Coons gave testimony at the DMR 2018 rule changes hearing. On behalf of the NWLA membership Coons gave testimony in favor of certain rules; as well as encouraged changes to other rules. The full testimony is available here.
