NWLA Foundation Receives Large Donation

Daryl and Christine Peterson, Northwest Landowners Association members, donated $250,000 to the NWLA Foundation. These funds will be used for brine remediation education across North Dakota. The Petersons hope their donation will encourage others to give the NWLA Foundation; and support the education of responsible resource development.

Members of NWLA attended a presentation from USEPA Representative, Will Folland, today during this months Hydrocarbon Remediation Workgroup meeting. Folland’s presentation discussed using a risk based decision making process for the hydrocarbon remediation guidelines. This process is health based and results in consistent decision making.
